Test Preperation


Iamb:  A metrical foot consisting of an unaccented syllable followed by an accented syllable.  

              EX:  Unite,  Provide 

Iambic Pentameter:  Iambic Pentameter is the name given to a line of verse that consists of five IAMBS.

                            EX:  if YOU | would PUT | the KEY | inSIDE | the LOCK
                                      da DUM | da DUM | da DUM | da DUM | da DUM
